Photography is visual information. When I look at a photograph I see literal information and emotional information in it. Visual information tells me the story through the visual facts it contains. I believe in exploring the emotional information in a photograph, how what you see makes you feel. This is what I strive to create in my work. Is my vision created in the camera at the time of capture? Not necessarily. I see a scene or a moment and recognize the significance of it, but beyond that I see its potential as a finished photograph. It is my personal process of editing the non-stop stream of vision into photographs that sing to me. Elicit a feeling from me. Photographs that will live as works of my of art.
